Preaching, teaching, and leadership are Bryan Carter’s life passions. Respectfully described as a “difference maker,” Bryan gets great joy out of helping people to reach their full potential in Christ.
Bryan serves as a co-presenter/developer for “33 The Series”, a curriculum on authentic manhood published by Lifeway Christian Resources, and as a presenter for “The Art of Marriage” curriculum published by Family Life Ministries. He hosts the E. K. Bailey Expository Preaching Conference annually. This conference is one of the premier conferences in the country for training preachers on effective biblical preaching. A sought after preacher of the Gospel, Bryan Carter regularly preaches and teaches at numerous conferences, workshops, leadership events and worship services throughout the country. Internationally, he has shared in South Africa, Jamaica, Haiti and Kenya.
Bryan Carter has carefully and prayerfully explored and given his time and energy to efforts that expand beyond the walls of the church. He is heavily involved in the communities that surround Concord as well as the city of Dallas. His heart for community service and proactive work with community partners makes him a notable leader in the city of Dallas. Pastor Carter’s passion to forge toward a greater community and city has allowed him to serve in numerous capacities as board member of Dallas Habitat for Humanity, Dallas ISD Education Foundation, HIS Bridgebuilders, and Mentoring Brother to Brother. He also leads Harmony Community Development Corporation, an organization committed to improving the community of southern Dallas through building stronger families and economic development. Bryan also served as a member of the Mayor’s Taskforce Against Domestic Violence. He has a heart for the city and works with community partners to forge toward creating a greater Dallas.
While Bryan Carter is careful and prayerful about serving the community, he gives the same focused attention to serving the body of Christ. He has served as Senior Pastor of Concord Church since 2003, succeeding the church’s founding pastor, Dr. E. K. Bailey. Under his leadership, Concord has tripled in size, currently serving more than 8,500 members.
